Instructor - City of Newport Oregon : Job Details

The City of Newport is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional individual to fill the position of Instructor for our Aquatic Facility, This position will be responsible to organize, plan, and implement the Learn to Swim program. Provide water safety instruction, and/or instruct patrons in an exercise program for youth and adults. Plan, organize, and teach pool patrons swimming, water safety, and water exercise classes. Gather needed equipment, coordinate with staff, and communicate with patrons to ensure the programs meet the needs of the customer. This is a part-time (less than 20 hours/week) position. Qualifications MINIMUM/ MANDATORY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described.
