Available as either a Lecturer (Ph.D.) or Instructor (M.S.) position in the School of Biological Sciences, Louisiana Tech University. This is a nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty teaching position (90% teaching/advising and 10% service). Position is available to begin September 1, 2025.The successful applicant will teach nine credit hours per academic quarter, including Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II lecture courses (BISC 225 and BISC 227), and Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II Laboratory courses (BISC 226 and BISC 228), as well as possibly other courses in the candidate's area of expertise; this position also contributes to academic advising of undergraduate students.Lecturer position requires an earned Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field, and has a promotion path (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Distinguished Lecturer), based on satisfactory performance and documented excellence in teaching. Instructor position requires an earned M.S. in Biology or closely related field. Prior teaching experience is desired for this position.Our School is a dynamic, collegial unit with 30 faculty and approximately 600 undergraduate and 40 graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.).
