Instrumentation Technician - Korn Ferry : Job Details

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an Instrumentation Technician for their Dallas TX manufacturing facility.

Extensive PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting experience, as well as strong skills in ladder logic, are required for this role.

Compensation: $40.00-42.00/hour

Shift: rotating 12-hour shift schedule

What You Will Do:

Serve as the technical expert on high-level equipment processes and electrical sub-components (sensors, motors, drives, etc.).

• Collaborate with shift industrial technicians and operation leads to identify and troubleshoot process issues.
• Identify and withdraw parts needed for electrical maintenance and repair projects.
• Perform electrical repairs on various types of equipment per standard work plans and manuals.
• Select, install, configure, and calibrate instruments and devices.
• Test equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Program new plant equipment or modify existing programs as directed.

Education and Work Experience:

• At least 4 years of US Military experience required
• Must have extensive PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting experience, strong skills in ladder logic.
• Knowledge and experience with NEC and electrical distribution.
• Preferred: Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC experience.
