The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential insulation installation, possess excellent leadership skills, and exhibit a high level of attention to detail. The Insulation Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all insulation-related tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards. What You Will Do
- Manage a crew of insulation installers, providing guidance, training, and direction to ensure successful execution of projects.
- Conduct pre-job meetings with the team to ensure all safety measures, project goals, and client expectations are clear.
- Coordinate and schedule project activities, including material delivery, equipment setup, and installation tasks.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with company standards, code requirements, and project specifications.
- Perform on-site inspections to identify any safety concerns, installation deficiencies, or scope changes.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other team members to effectively plan and execute insulation projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of project status, including progress updates, productivity, and material usage.
- Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and a commitment to excellence among the crew members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and safety guidelines.
What You Will Need - Minimum of 5 years of experience in insulation installation, with a strong understanding of various insulation materials and techniques.
- Extreme focus on safety standards, policies and procedures
- Proven experience in a leadership role, supervising teams and overseeing successful completion of insulation projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding efficient solutions to challenges that may arise during projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the insulation industry.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- OSHA certification (preferred).
