Job Description :

The Insurance & Contract Specialist is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Four Seasons Family of Companies business insurance program and policies. Provide advice and recommendations on insurance coverage, claims and risk management strategies, in an effort to reduce organizational risk. Responsible for reviewing contracts and coordinating all activities related to contract administration. A critical success factor is to be able to work with multiple business partners, both internal and external. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite) What you get to do as an Insurance & Contract Specialist

  • Oversee property and casualty insurance programs
  • Facilitate claims process, reporting claims through the broker
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with brokers and insurance contacts to ensure effective program management
  • Monitor/oversee renewals of coverages, including the completion of applications, working with appropriate departments to gather information
  • Analyze monthly loss runs for GL, Auto and WC policies, provide financial information to accounting for monthly accruals and year end true ups
  • Review carrier and broker invoices for accuracy
  • Prepare information for annual audits of expiring policies
  • Understand and be proficient in reviewing insurance policies, certificates, insurable values, and general risk management practices
  • Assist management in administering contracts and indemnification agreements
  • Provide guidance to business partners on contract terms and conditions
  • Review contracts for risk identification and make recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Provide professional verbal and written responses and feedback to questions, requests, and challenging insurance and contract matters; internally and externally
  • Maintain insurance and contract files, including historical files of polices, certificates, invoices, and pricing
  • Maintain database of supplier COI's, monitor for expiring certificates and manage the collection and review of new certificates
What you bring
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of insurance coverage in property & casualty lines including insurance related concepts, processes, and regulations
  • Knowledge of contractual language and terminology
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management or business-related discipline, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • JDE experience a plus
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask and manage time
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Work well independently and with a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
