Insurance Customer Service Representative - HARVIS : Job Details

Job Description At Harvis, Inc. we work to support business owners, their managers and Human Resource departments of one giving them a trusted HR Partner to whom they can delegate HR responsibilities. Our client, Corbett Insurance is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal preferred candidate is someone with a licensed Commercial Lines insurance background. Corbett Insurance is open to considering candidates with personal lines experience and is willing to train. Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with clients & carrier personnel to maintain retention
• Follow up with clients' queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
• Be organized and efficient
• Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage
• Ensure a positive customer experience

Job Duties:

• Develops complete client information and applications for new and renewal business under the direction of the Agency Owner
• Processes change requests/endorsements, binders, certificates of insurance, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audits, and account balance status when requested
• Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Maintains good internal file audit results
• Assists in the development of solid business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships
• Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, and signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices promptly
• Reviews all premium audits according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process them promptly
• Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue industry and technical knowledge education
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm

• Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred
• Confident self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication/ interpersonal skills
• Able to utilize computer programs and understand functionality
• Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
• 3-5 years' experience preferred
