Brown & Brown is Seeking an Insurance Operations Liaison to join our growing team in Bethlehem, PA! Monitor and assist in the compliance of the risk management (Insurance Operations) program for the Profit Center. Identify areas of knowledge gaps for new and existing service and sales teammates and develop learning programs to aid to the delivery of exceptional customer service. How You Will Contribute

  • Ensure that all sales and service teammates follow established required compliance documents through checklists and IO Manual.
  • Update checklists, IO procedures manual and other resources, as needed, for all teammates to use.
  • Provide training for all teammates, as needed.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring, including pulling reports and submitting to Corporate as directed
  • Monthly Data Input Control - Agency Bill Report (incl FEES) for current CSA month-checked by Accounting or Dept Lead, All Departments, Criteria page is included, Explanations for Q1-15 if answered No or N/A
  • Monthly Carrier or Third-Party Audits - Carrier and third-party audits include, but are not limited to, audits performed by carriers, reinsurers, self-insured entities, and regulators, or audits performed by other parties on their behalf.
  • Monthly Top Gun Reporting - To report New and Lost business as defined by the Top Gun rules. (Corporate Sales Contest)
  • Quarterly Book of Business (BOB) Report - To ensure that accounts are coded correctly and if any are assigned to inactive teammates, that these accounts have been re-assigned. Also, review emails and suspense items to ensure that outstanding items have also been re-assigned. This report can also be utilized to monitor billing company versus issuing company, premiums, commission, fees, status codes, i.e. new, renewal, cancelled, etc.
  • Quarterly Service Center Accounts Report - To confirm that Service Center accounts are receiving the appropriate correspondence and Compensation Disclosure; and service representatives are not altering policies.
  • Annual Catastrophe Plan - Cadency Deployment - To update the CAT Manual annually, upload the current Profit Center client list and any new Teammate Volunteer forms.
  • Annual Insurance Operations Reviews - Profit Centers are re-reviewed every two years (unless they receive an Unsatisfactory Review Rating) to identify any potential Errors & Omission and to monitor for consistency, backlog, and/or teammate(s) use of the system. This review also allows the Insurance
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
  • Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing.
  • Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
  • 3+ years' experience with the organization
  • 5+ years' experience in the insurance industry, or a related field.
  • College Degree in a business-related field. (preferred)
  • Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (ie, ARM, CIC, RPLU) (preferred)
