We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic International Export Customer Service Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our international export operations, ensuring that our products reach their global destinations efficiently and effectively. This position requires a professional with a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex logistical operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of international export operations, including order processing, container bookings, customer communications, documentation, and export shipments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and international partners to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the export process, liaising with internal teams and external partners as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train and mentor customer service team members to ensure they are providing the highest level of service and support to our customers.
  • Continually review and update export procedures and documentation to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an export or customer service role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in order processing, container bookings, customer communications, documentation, and export shipments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including CRM and order management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
