As a full time Intake Coordinator you will work out of our office in Avenue North, North Wilmington. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm during orientation, following orientation the schedule will be 9am-5:30pm; and an occasional part of a weekend day.The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and timely in order to successfully meet federal and state regulations
  • Identify and enter the correct Diagnosis coding to receive maximum reimbursement for services
  • Review accuracy of fields on the plan of care based on CMS Medicare Conditions of participation
  • Run reports to ensure plan of care and OASIS documents are completed timely by clinicians for review and are locked based on organizational benchmarks and regulatory requirements
  • Report trends of non-adherence to providing needed data for coding, complete and timely submission of documentation to manager
  • Researches and corrects clinical data entry errors; report compliance concerns related to federal and state guidelines immediately to manager or Corporate Compliance

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to generate reports, excel experience/knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of health care delivery systems and understanding of insurance coordination of benefits.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
