Marquis Home Care - Intake Coordinator Reports to: Director of Intake
What you will do:
- Process incoming referrals to the agency on multiple referral platforms
- Guide referral sources in obtaining necessary documentation
- Enter protected health information and understand insurance guidelines
- Communicate directly with clients, providers offices and referral sources to coordinate care
- Data entry
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the referral process
- Work as an integral part of a collaborative team
Ideal Candidate:
- LPN
- Medical Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years experience in home care, skilled nursing facility, long term care, or acute care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Goal oriented
- Good understanding of EMR, excel, Microsoft Office
- Organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Typing skills
