Our services include school-based therapy, outpatient counseling, psychiatric evaluations, community support, and substance abuse treatment.Position OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to provide community-based and in-home individual and family therapy, as well as community support services. This role involves assessing client strengths and needs, coordinating service implementation, and ensuring quality and compliance in client documentation. The Intake Coordinator serves as a key advocate for individuals and families while facilitating their access to essential treatment and support services.Location: Raleigh, NCCompensation:
- Associate License: starting at $54,373
- Fully Licensed: starting at $57,235
Key ResponsibilitiesTherapeutic Support
- Provide in-home and community-based therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Work with clients, families, and natural supports to assess strengths and needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to ensure services align with client goals.
- Recommend appropriate treatment modalities and provide services directly or by referral.
Intake Coordination
- Conduct initial intake assessments with families and/or community agencies requesting services.
- Assist clients with enrollment and service authorization with LME/MCOs.
- Facilitate appropriate matches between clients and available services to meet individual needs.
Documentation and Compliance
- Assist in creating and maintaining Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), NC-TOPPS assessments, and Diagnostic Assessments.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with documentation standards for PCPs, NC-TOPPS, and Diagnostic Assessments.
- Maintain communication with LME/MCOs regarding authorization status and ensure timely reauthorizations.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate with staff and management on client staffing needs.
- Provide training to employees on authorization documentation and procedures.
- Assist the Family Services Supervisor with managing client authorizations and service reauthorizations.
Advocacy and Community Engagement
- Act as a client advocate in the community, supporting families in accessing necessary resources.
- Participate in a 24-hour rotating on-call schedule to provide crisis support as needed.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensure:
- Must hold an associate or full Mental Health license (e.g., LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LMFT/A).
- Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
