The University's constantly evolving, and increasingly complex technical environment encompasses more than 250 applications, including the student information system which supports over 17,000 students. The Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of integration solutions for the University's enterprise applications and for providing a robust and performant network of consumable APIs. They are comfortable analyzing complex requirements to implement highly effective solutions.The Integration Developer works as a core member of a highly collaborative team of IT professionals, a group with wide-ranging responsibilities who work closely to ensure the integration, interoperability, and availability of campus technology resources. They enjoy collaborating with other technology professionals to provide solutions and have the technical skill to evaluate, implement, and maintain technology that meets the evolving needs of a wide variety of disciplines and departments. They understand the importance of assessing functionality, performance, risk, and security. The Integration Developer has intellectual curiosity, keen analytical skills, and quickly grasps new concepts. They are confident in their knowledge and ability to make recommendations and work across ITS and business units to provide input and expertise to a range of services.The successful candidate has excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, the ability to cultivate relationships with a wide range of constituents, proven API design and development skills, and previous experience using application integration platforms such as MuleSoft's Anypoint iPaaS platform.
