Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join our IT team. The Integration Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations between various applications within the organization's IT environment. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work closely with users to define, implement, and maintain integration solutions.
The Integration Developer will be responsible for translating business use cases into technical specifications, guiding development teams in integration implementation, and ensuring data quality. The role also involves monitoring daily operations, troubleshooting integration issues, and coordinating with the Quality Assurance team to maintain data integrity across platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience with integration platforms (such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar), cloud-based systems, and APIs. Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, and C# is essential. Familiarity with platforms like Workday and Salesforce is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of both standard and custom integrations across various systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to propose, present, and implement integration solutions.
- Work with business owners and vendors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and improve the knowledge base for integration-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation for integrations and data-related changes.
- Research and evaluate new integration technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining integrations using platforms like Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in connecting cloud-based systems and working with various API architectures (e.g., REST, SOAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Expertise in data management principles, including data modeling, governance, and quality.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, T-SQL, Ruby, and JSON.
- Experience with relational databases and platforms like SQL Server and Workday Studio (or similar) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leveraging technology solutions to meet project objectives and deliver business value.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams and ensure clear communication for successful project execution.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily sedentary but may occasionally require moving about the office to liaise with staff or access files and equipment.
Location:
This role is based in New York with a hybrid work model, requiring staff to be in the office three days per week.
