Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Audio Video Automation Lead Technician** to join our team. This role will lead our AV automation initiatives, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Oversee and guide the AV installation team, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Integration: Configure, and integrate complex audio-visual systems including control systems (e.g., Crestron, Savant,Lutron), audio (e.g., Sonos, Dolby Atmos), video (e.g., 4K, 8K, Video Over IP), and networking solutions.
- Project Management: Manage project scopes, from design to implementation, ensuring all systems are tested and operational before client handover.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, explaining system functionalities, troubleshooting, and providing training.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest AV technology trends and integrate new solutions into our service offerings.
- Maintenance & Support: Conduct regular maintenance checks and provide support for installed systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in audio-visual system installation with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in programming control systems like Crestron, Control4, Savant, Lutron and so on.
- Knowledge of audio-video standards, networking, and cabling best practices.
- Experience with network DSPs, DONTE, AES67 and various audio-video network protocols.
- Certifications:
- Certification in Crestron, Lutron and Savant
- CEDIA Certified Technician currently valid or within the past 3 years
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and client satisfaction.
- Valid CA Drivers License
- Pass background check
- Must provide own hand tools and drills (Proprietary tools will be provided)
