Job Brief
We are looking for a competent Intelligence Analyst to assist in organizing, monitoring, and reporting the security operations of our company. You will gather, analyze, or evaluate information from a variety of sources, such as law enforcement databases, surveillance, intelligence networks or geographic information systems.
As an Intel Analyst, you will have to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, computer skills, and crisis management skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. You will report to the VP of Operations and learn to run multiple operations all in a day's work. You will have a number of people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills during times of crisis and possibly under stress.
Responsibilities
- Gather intelligence information by field observation, confidential information sources, or public record.
- Gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of resources, such as law enforcement databases.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations or charts based on research collection and analysis of intelligence data.
- Use or maintain databases and software applications, such as geographic information systems mapping and AI tools.
- Monitor video surveillance systems to observe activities of employees, patrons and protect the establishments
- Link or chart individuals, groups, or events to determine activities and interrelationships
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific clients
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies or operations requests
- Review reports on incidents, contractor issues and manage problems
- Be a member of a team and dedicated to the growth of the company
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Intel Analyst or similar position
- Experience using relevant technology, spreadsheets, and various other tools
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Committed and reliable
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, political science, cybersecurity, security management, or a related field.
- Advanced Degree (preferred but not required)
- Law Enforcement or Military Background (preferred but not required)
- Previous Intelligence Analysis Experience (preferred but not required)
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large volumes of information, recognize patterns, assess risks, and make sound judgments.
- Intelligence Gathering Techniques: Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and other intelligence-gathering methodologies.
- Threat Assessment: Knowledge of threat assessment methodologies and how to apply them to individuals or facilities.
- Technology Proficiency: Ability to work with data analysis software and intelligence databases.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to notice small details and inconsistencies.
