Interior Design Assistant - $70-95k + BONUS! - CitiStaffing : Job Details

INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT

Renowned architecture and design firm is looking to hire an Interior Design Assistant to work directly with the Founding Partner & Architect as well as the Senior Interior Designer. Individuals must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Interior Design Assistant and must be proficient with Filemaker and Google Workspace. This is a full-time in-person position with excellent benefits including 100% paid health/dental/eye care, 401k, 10 days PTO PLUS the office closes for Christmas- New Year's.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist senior interior designer with FF&E spec and materials and procuring samples for meetings.
• Work with architects and designers for coordination and meetings.
• Facilitate and maintain vendor logs and contacts within Filermaker database.
• Invoicing and billing with Filemaker and/or any other industry standard software.
• Prepare budget and schedule by liaising with vendors, art handlers, movers, galleries, etc.
• Liaise with shipping, moving and storage companies for monthly billing and scheduling for deliveries to the site.
• Coordinating interior installations as per instruction such as obtaining COI, preparing for other requirements by the building, etc.
• Ensure client satisfaction by resolving any complaints or concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the senior interior designer.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in related field of art and design.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience within luxury residential interiors offices.
• Proficient in Filemaker, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, extremely well-organized & ability to meet frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
• Ability to trouble-shoot, problem-solve proactively and efficiently, and anticipate issues in need of resolution.
