Interior Designer - Elite Food Service Equipment Co. : Job Details

We're a creative foodservice design/build studio focusing on hospitality venues, corporate cafes and dining rooms, coffee bars, commercial kitchens and similar concepts. elite|studio e is hiring a Project Designer (Interior Designer) who is a team player enjoying working in a dynamic, collaborative thinking environment. We want to bring on an awesome colleague who will bring new ideas and innovation to the team. Reporting To: Director, Design Duties: Our interior designers juggle multiple projects, while maintaining a creative and innovative design sense. Our ideal candidate will have top-notch communication skills, the ability to take a conceptual design and convert it to a visual presentation, and the talent to design a space from scratch. The applicant will be responsible for a project journey from start to finish including, but not limited to, attending meetings, conceptual design and layout, selecting finishes, creating photo-realistic renderings, preparing presentation material, and design development phases. He/she will deliver comprehensive, creative designs through the use of Autodesk Revit. Skills:

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit to create photo-realistic renderings (and eventually foodservice designs and technical drawings)
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Enscape is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of Adobe inDesign a plus
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Develop complete designs from preliminary concepts and sketches
• Selection of Finishes and creation of finish and mood boards
• Attention to detail
• Creative and innovative design sense

Education: A four-year bachelor's degree in interior design from an accredited program is preferred, but if you have creativity, the skills required for the position, and a desire to take on new challenges don't hesitate to apply.
