What You Will Do:

• Designs and creates finish palettes and furniture specifications to be used in building amenities, common areas, and spec suites
• Procures, bids, and oversees furniture orders and installations for commercial properties specific to individual tenants and users
• Responsible for selecting materials for the commercial portfolio adhering to ADA and building codes
• Manages the communication with suppliers to attain up-to-date materials
• Conducts market research to determine standards within the market
• Keeps up to date on market trends to influence designs
• Coordinates assembling sample boards
• Creates design presentations for approval
• Calculates Rentable Square Footages for commercial properties that correlate directly to lease agreements
• Prepares CAD drawings for tenants and brokers
• Creates full Construction Plans including reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, lighting plans, and interior elevations for internal and external parties
• Specifies finishes, fixtures, and equipment to be used on all commercial projects across Onni's portfolio
• Works on marketing material such as brochures, web sites and email blasts
• Works with brokerage team to establish strong support of leasing Campaign
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• ASID designation or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field preferred
• Very proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• 2+ years of Interior Design experience working on commercial projects preferred
• General experience in commercial furniture procurement and bidding processes
• Knowledge of local municipal and federal codes
• Knowledge of and ability to design within ADA guidelines
• Knowledge of LEED certification
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
• Ability to effectively communicate with project team members or departments
