Job Description If you are a passionate Interior Designer looking to join a growing team, there is an incredible opportunity that awaits with a reputable Architecture and Design Firm. This firm is seeking an Interior Designer with start-to-finish project experience and a desire for continued growth and leadership development. Interior Design Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design required
  • 5-12 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects with an emphasis on interior design
  • Architectural license required
Interior Designer Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience in commercial, recreation, public sector, public works, sustainable, municipal/government projects preferred
  • Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for quality documentation
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Proactive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to integrate design requirements with architecture
  • LEED accreditation an asset
  • NCIDQ accreditation preferred
Interior Designer Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Consult with clients on interior design concepts and needs
  • Define project requirements and develop design criteria
  • Manage project scheduling, estimates, budgeting, and planning (drawings, models, materials, etc.)
  • Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects
  • Professional client development skills
  • Leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Compensation:
  • $70,000-$110,000 (negotiable based on experience)
