Interior Designer - Archinect : Job Details

Architect Associates is a small studio with locations in NYC and DFW. We're an interdisciplinary architecture and design firm with a diverse range of residential, urban planning, hospitality, and retail projects.

We're looking for a full-time Interior Designer to join our office in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with FF&E and OS&E selection and sourcing
• Assist with design presentations
• Assist with material research
• Prepare material and FF&E palettes
• Assist with FF&E documentation
• Assist with budgeting and record-keeping
• Model FF&E selections and provide realistic renderings
• Assist with general office duties (contacting suppliers, organizing library, etc.)
• Routine site visits for coordination review

Candidates should have these requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in architecture and/or interior design
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture and/or interior design
• Software experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Excel, Word
• Ability to render using Rhino and V-Ray
• Experience with all project phases and exposure to completed work
• Preferred knowledge of specification sourcing (in NYC)
• Preferred knowledge of finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, etc.
• Preferred NCIDQ or CID credentials

This is an in-studio position, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home opportunities. Salary is commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
