Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity for a vibrant candidate to join a team of energized ESG and stakeholder engagement professionals. Your unique skills, background and perspectives will contribute to our work driving ESG strategy, reporting, due diligence and stakeholder engagement. Build relationships with our ESG & Stakeholder Engagement team members spread across our corporate headquarters in Findlay, Ohio, our San Antonio, Texas office, and field-based positions in Texas. Work collaboratively on cross-functional sustainability initiatives with internal business partners, including refining, renewable fuels, and midstream business units, the corporate Health, Environment, Safety & Security organization, Supply Chain organization, and Communications.

You will join our team during a busy season, and your ideas and talent will be needed to help us:

  • Prepare sustainability disclosures
  • Develop sustainability-focused communications materials
  • Research projects to track emerging ESG trends
  • Assist in responses to key ESG surveys, ratings and rankings
  • Perform ESG due diligence for renewable feedstocks

Qualifications:

  • Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelors degree program majoring in sustainability or a sustainability-related field such as public or natural resources policy, human rights, economics, business administration, community development, marketing and communications, and environment and natural resources for the duration of the experience
  • Strong academic performance
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time indefinite basis for our Company without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Military experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Power BI preferred
