About this position:Intern will work closely with engineers on designing electric and natural gas facilities. This includes estimating costs, engineering support, and project management. There will also be opportunities to visit projects in the field, and to learn about the operation of NorthWestern Energy's electric and natural gas systems. About this job:
- Support engineers in design of electric and natural gas facilities for new construction, relocates, and capacity projects
- Work with new service requests, assist in providing services, checking site locations ahead of crew for efficiencies
- Assist customers with NWE's New Construction process
- Work with customers on growth orders and construction estimates
- Research Company records on vintage gas pipe to determine replacement plans
- Work on infrastructure mapping/GIS information to improve data
- Participate in organizational work meetings
- Lifting of materials up to 35 pounds
