**Intern - Guest Services - MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford NJ)**

MetLife Stadium jobs Sports Jobs in East Rutherford NJ Internship: Internship MetLife Stadium, home to the NY Giants and NY Jets is seeking to fill a summer internship opportunity in our Guest Services Department. Ourinternships are unpaid; selected intern will be scheduled appx. 3 days per week, including all events during the program which runs from mid-May to mid-August. We will be hosting a number of concerts, family shows and college football. Currently enrolled college juniors or seniors should apply no later than March 30, 2022 for consideration. Below is a broad overview of the Guest Services Internship opportunity.

This internship will allow the student to be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of the Guest Services department. Students will learn what it takes to plan and execute events at MetLife Stadium as well as gain experience on how to operate a venue while meeting the needs of guest and team members. The Intern will work closely with the Guest Services Department, as well as other departments within MetLife Stadium.

**Guest and Premium Services**

* Assist the Customer Service staff with incoming and outgoing calls and providing a prompt response to all service emails within the required timeframe

* Effectively provide satisfactory responses to all customer inquiries, requests, and complaints

* Co-managing Guest Relations Representatives staff

* Inventory tracking for Guest Relations Representatives staff and concert supplies with the Guest Services Coordinator

* Providing support to our Lost and Found program

Assist with event day briefings, paperwork, inventory, and distribution

* Provide accurate, detailed directions to and from stadium locations such as seating areas, restrooms, and concession on event days

* Aid in event day distribution to MetLife Stadium suites

* Promote Guest Services programs and initiatives

* Shadow Guest Services full-time and part-time staff during event days to learn what is needed to execute a successful event.

* Perform assistance with basic office functions as needed

**Team Member Experience**

* Provide support with the recruitment, selection, coaching and management of Guest Service team members

* Help with delivering new hire training for incoming MetLife Stadium Team Members

* Maintain effective communication with Guest Service team members

* Assist in the research and implementation of new Employee Incentive programs

* Work with MetLife Stadium uniform room staff to prepare and operate Uniform Room prior to Team Member arrivals on event day

* Support Guest Service team members on event days and non-event days

**Education**Pursuing a degree in Business, Hospitality, Sports Administration, or any related program

**Skill Requirements**

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize assignments

* Strong customer service and people skills

* Solid organizational skills and attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills

* A can-do attitude with the desire to learn and have fun while doing it

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Adhere to MetLife Stadium policies and procedures while interning at the Stadium
