Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland and the Performing Arts.
Job Description:
* Assemble production notebooks and advance artist information packets for the JazzFest and other Performing Arts Events
* Collect, produce and inventory signage used to organize event production
* Organize and load van with materials used in event production
* Assist with the setup of Mainstage, backstage, offstage festival and event areas and dissemination of event information to functional parties.
Required Qualifications:
* Must be currently enrolled at Tri-C
* Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
* Able to identify and setup audio/lighting/video gear and musician backline
* Interest in behind the scenes production planning
* Extremely organized with good follow through
* Can stand / work for extended length events
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Punctual with reliable transportation to and from work on campus and venues throughout the Cuyahoga County area
* Recording Arts, Music, Music Business or Theater Major
* Prior experience in event planning and management
* Strong Computer Skills - ability to edit pdf's, work in Excel and Microsoft office, as well as learn new software platforms easily
* Flexibility and good customer service skills
