Intern - Materials Management - Progress Rail Services Corporation : Job Details

The purpose of this position is to support materials and business in a remanufacturing facility. Work involves increasing levels of independent judgment, decision making, and creativity. - Assist staff with materials management activity for production lines; - Process Improvements; - Issue purchase orders as needed; - Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards; - Assist with Inventory Cycle Count Program and monthly cycle counts; - Assist with management of inventory counts and reports on inventory; - Performs additional job-related duties as assigned. - Frequent contact with others outside the work group; - Work is conducted in a manufacturing environment; - Travel as required to fulfill work assignments (will vary). Required: - Enrolled in a BS Logistics, Materials Management, Supply Chain or Business Program. - Have completed Sophomore year in related degree program; - Demonstrated ability to communicate, both orally and inwriting; - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ...Management, Materials, Intern, Operations, Transportation
