Job Description
The Intern - Student Internship Program will work for the duration of specific projects or assignments participating in a UNITED school partnership program. Projects will vary by department. This position will receive insight on how Coca-Cola UNITED functions and serves its community and customers, as well as a comprehensive understanding of how all departments contribute to the manufacturing and selling of Coca-Cola products.
What your day will look like:
* Work collaboratively with other Interns to complete a final project
* Engage in community activities
* Learn soft skills, such as presenting and interacting with associates in a customer-focused setting
* Learn about project management, goal-setting and time management
* Rotate through various departments to gain exposure to different processes and people that support UNITED's initiatives
* Provide administrative and analytical work as needed
* Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
* Minimum of 18 years old
* Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
* Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
* Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
* Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication skills
* Enrolled in a school, technical school, college or university participating in a UNITED school partnership program
* Ability to work with cross functional teams
* Frequent standing, sitting, walking, typing
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
