The Internal Communications Specialist is a new role reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, planning and delivering seamless internal communication within the organization. A varied role, responsible for creating, managing, and implementing internal communications strategies to ensuring consistent messaging across all internal channels.

Description

Responsibilities as internal communications specialist include:

  • Support the development and implementation of internal communications strategies and plans that engage, inform and inspire employees.
  • Produce high-quality and engaging internal communications materials and content for multiple channels - regional and firm-wide updates, executive team communications.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, ensuring consistent messaging and tone.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing, digital and social teams to align internal and external messaging.
  • Manage internal communications channels, content calendar, updating and posting on the intranet and creating emails and newsletters.
  • Help organize internal events, roadshows, in-person and virtual town-halls and employee events.
  • Manage multiple projects, updating stakeholders and working collaboratively with the wider communications and marketing teams.

Profile

The successful Internal Communications Specialist will have demonstrable skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or other related field.
  • 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role within Legal, Professional/ Financial Services or Consulting industries.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms.
  • A creative mindset, strong writer with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
