The Capital Markets team is tasked with developing and providing investment strategies that successfully manage risk while creating long-term value.Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage in planning and business development to drive sales and strengthen relationships within territories
- Develop new business and provide support within the territory through calls, with activities such as:
Call campaign to reps new to our selling group to help each territory touch every rep quicklyCall campaigns and event (Dine Arounds; Conference Calls; Fund Updates; Due Diligence Meetings etc)Call reps pre and post for large conference so we can touch everyone who attended before and after quicklyPresent webcasts, helping with individual webcasts when neededProspecting to reach new reps and give them the initial pitch to be passed onto the territory teamFill in for internal wholesalers who are out of the office (PTO or Road)Schedule sales appointments for the external wholesaler (s) in assigned territoryProvide sales meeting and conference preparation and follow up for external wholesaler- Maintain quality notes about all interactions in a CRM system
Desired Qualifications:
- Financial services industry experience
- Comfortable making several dozen outbound dials per day
- Some knowledge of alternative investments, REITs, Private Placements, DST/1031 a plus
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Proven selling and relationship building skills
- Disciplined self-starter who requires little direction to succeed
- Someone who understands a team is only as strong as its weakest link
- FINRA Series 7 & 66, or 7 & 63
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce
