Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and track shipments and operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods for customers internationally.
- Manage all aspects of international shipments, including compliance with countries' regulations and export/import procedures.
- Work with customs brokers to clear shipments and resolve any customs issues.
- Utilize logistics IT systems to enhance tracking and efficiency of shipments.
- Ensure compliance with international logistics standards and legal regulations.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless logistics process and high customer satisfaction.
- Handle logistics emergencies, discrepancies, and claims efficiently, minimizing the impact on operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in international logistics (freight forwarding) or supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, including customs regulations, ocean import/export documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with international partners and carriers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
