To support this growth, BASIS Overseas Educational Services (BOES) is seeking a talentedInternational Recruiterto develop and drive recruiting strategies that attract and hire the best teaching and educational talent worldwide.
This role will be pivotal in sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier candidates for teaching, school leadership, and support roles at our internationally ranked schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, exceptional recruitment expertise, and a global mindset to build the BASIS International Schools' employment brand and value proposition across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for teaching and school leadership roles, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
Establish relationships with global sources for education professionals, including top-tier universities, education associations, and international school communities.
Develop and execute innovative global recruiting plans and sourcing strategies.
Serve as an employment brand ambassador for BASIS International Schools in international markets.
Build talent networks and pools by sourcing passive candidates to meet current and future staffing needs.
Collaborate with hiring managers to champion best practices in recruitment, promote strategic hiring, and align candidates to organizational needs and culture.
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including social media, Boolean searches, and professional networking.
Conduct interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person) to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skill levels, and cultural fit.
Maintain and manage applicant tracking systems, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
Contribute to recruitment-focused social media campaigns and content development.
Support BASIS International Schools' growth initiatives by participating in internal and external hiring events.
Occasionally travel internationally (5-10%) and attend hiring events as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology, Communications, or International Studies.
3+ years of professional recruitment experience, preferably with some focus on international roles.
Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM systems, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience recruiting teachers, educators, or school leaders.
Knowledge of cultural differences and motivators in international recruitment.
Previous recruitment experience in an agency or fast-paced environment.
