International Student Advisor - South Dakota Board of Regents : Job Details

The University of South Dakotas International Office is seeking applicants for the position of International Student Advisor. The Advisor performs the duties of a Designated School Official (DSO). They are responsible for advising USDs approximately 250 F-1students about maintaining non-immigrant status in the US, and assisting students with immigration, visa, financial, orientation, academic, cross-cultural, and personal adjustment matters. As a member of a an office of six professionals, this position takes the lead in the development, implementation, and presentation of key cultural integration initiatives to ensure a positive living and learning experience, including orientation programs, off-campus educational programs, and other activities for international students.
