- Privately owned multinational specialty chemical manufacturing and distribution firm that values people, processes, and performance
- They've been in business for many decades and have grown tremendously over the last few years
- They have a strong presence coast to coast and internationally as well
- Its owners are committed to growing the company for many years to come
- Due to the aforementioned growth of the firm, they need an experienced international trade compliance professional
- This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations for importing chemicals from the Asia Pacific region
- This company imports chemicals in drums, totes, and the occasional isotainer
- This person will have a key role in the operations of the firm
- The position is home-office-based based two days a week and office-based for three days a week
- Three or more years of international trade compliance experience is required
- A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- Experience with exports of liquid chemicals from Asia is highly, highly desired
- Experience with US Customs import process is a must
- Familiarity with the preparation of FDA end-use declarations and TSCA status certificates is desired
- The company greatly values intellectual curiosity
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
