Position Overview

Honda North, an ICL Company, is looking for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy talking on the phone for our Business Development Center. The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starting professional who wants a career opportunity in the automotive industry. This position is located at our Honda North operation. The Business Development Representative is in charge of the prospecting functions of the dealerships. This person will be responsible for ensuring that phone and internet leads are followed up in a timely and professional manner. They are responsible for setting appointments and following up with unsold floor traffic. They will maintain a relationship with our customer base via e-mail and by phone to increase dealership sales. This position does not require cold calls.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound Internet and Phone leads, directing them to the proper departments and people.
  • Conduct business in a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, such as email, telephone, and others.
  • Maintain contact with our present customer base through phone and email contact.
  • Manage all sales activities generated from Phone and Internet contact.
Requirements:
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent follow-through skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Understanding of manufacturer's specifications.
  • Familiarity with automotive financing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to work some weekends and evenings.
  • Pre-employment background and drug screening.
