Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program. Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY. Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour. Position OverviewThe Designer - 3D Visualization Architectural Intern will support the Store Design 3D Visualization team in creating exciting retail environments that reflect Tiffany & Company's standards. Through hands-on involvement in design development, visualization, and project management processes, this role will contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand vision. Key AccountabilitiesDesign Development Support Assist in refining architectural concepts based on direction from senior designers. Participate in framing design challenges and brainstorming sessions. Help deliver customer experience through thoughtful architectural designs. Production Collaboration Sketch preliminary 3D designs under guidance to assist in schematic & design development phases. Support the creation of design intent sets for RFP processes. Attend and observe Design Review meetings; take notes and aid in communicating issues and solutions. Learn techniques for creating high-quality 3D visualizations of interior & exterior store designs. Construction Administration Assistance Assist with follow-ups with consultants; learn how RFIs are handled. Help prepare agendas for construction meetings as a learning experience. Studio Research/Administrative Tasks Conduct research into materials and products specific to projects. Manage sample orders as needed. Perform administrative duties such as electronic file management and updating project visuals. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D Modeling and rendering, including 3ds Max, Vray & Corona Renderers as well as Sketchup & Rhino.
