Job Position: Inventory - Mid - ShiftLocation: Hardeeville, SC 29927Pay Rate: $18.00/hrShift: 12:00am to 8:30pm Mon - Fri (May be asked to work weekends from time to time)Coastal Employment is hiring an Inventory Specialist on behalf of our client, a well-established warehouse logistics company. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock flow, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory, working with warehouse teams to identify root causes.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments.
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and improve stock management.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and monitor stock levels to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage and organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for inventory control and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
