Position Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing both direct and indirect supply chain activities in collaboration with the Manager of Inventory Control (Continuous Improvement) located in West Nyack, NY. This role involves gathering and analyzing data, assisting with data management, inventory control analysis, data procurement, and performing general administrative tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and oversee cycle counting programs.
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Process and monitor inventory adjustments in SAP.
  • Assist in developing inventory accuracy analyses and preparing monthly local inventory reports.
  • Lead the annual physical inventory process.
  • Produce monthly inventory analyses for clients and as required.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs.
  • Conduct safety stock analysis and review with the Planning Manager.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or High school
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain processes.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic SAP experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
