Senior Allocator
Pay Rate: 45-52.00 per hour

The Sr. Allocator will be a trusted member of the Merchandise Planning team and an important advisor to the group to support the brand/category E2E strategy. You will perform product initial allocations to the store level and manage in-season replenishment according to store needs and stock capacities. Reporting into the Director of North American Planning, you will have direct contact with strategic store partners, DC partners, and merchant partners. This hybrid role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
About the Job
- Partner with planning and merchandising to develop assortment financial plans to best position individual store needs and create an appropriate distribution strategy.
- Translate seasonal buy plans and distribution strategies into weekly store allocations to maximize sell-through while maintaining inventory health.
- Fulfill demand through stock-to-sales analysis and Sell-out trend while following store specific capacities and operating within replenishment budget.
- In-season, respond to SKU demand insights by door through rigorous size analysis. Build stock build-up for upcoming peak periods/lower trading periods aligning within in- season distribution strategy.
- Provide weekly fill rate reporting and adjust flows. Hindsight the outcome of replenishment orders to ensure accurate shipments to store and minimize workload in-store. Help with model stock management and model stock revisions.
- Create stock plans to support new store floor plans/sets. Visits stores monthly to review presentation, inventory levels and assess individual store needs and keep open lines of communication with the field teams.
- Coordinate between planning, merchandising, store operations, supply chain and DDC to ensure agreement and execution of agreed upon plans.
- Post-season, recap and assess store performance based on the development of distribution plans, and report essential market hindsight's best practices.
- Travel: ~5-10%.
About You
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain, Finance, Retail Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- 3-5 years in a corporate environment is an asset; apparel industry with inventory management experience.
- Technical proficiency with computer software tools and adapts and leans quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions).
