Job Description :
Position summary: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for customer demand while minimizing excess inventory. They monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve inventory management processes. The Inventory Analyst will also oversee item master data, conduct root cause analysis investigations into inventory value discrepancies, conduct regular inventory audits and provide inventory reconciliation guidance. Key responsibilities:
  • Analyze inventory levels and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop & monitor inventory performance metrics
  • Research and recommend solutions to inventory-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems related to inventory management
  • Create and distribute inventory reports to management on a regular basis
Reporting structure:
  • Reports directly to site Purchasing/Materials Manager
Candidate Criteria:
  • The ability to manage time effectively, prioritize commitments and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Teams, ERP systems (Sage100, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Location: Position will be on site in Taneytown, MD; no remote work offered. Travel may be required 5% of the time to the various Evapco plant locations in the US. *Summary, Responsibilities, Reporting Structure, & Criteria may change at the Manager's discretion. *
