CBC headquarters is located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Donor center locations in Wisconsin include Appleton, Oshkosh, Little Chute, and Woodruff. A donor center in Chicago will open in 2022. Mobile blood drive operations occur throughout Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The Community Blood Center is looking for an **Inventory and Customer Service Manager** to join our team!

This position will manage all aspects of customer relations to include contracting, pricing, customer service, retention and shipping. Ensures customers have a positive experience. Manages product inventories and ensures products are appropriately distributed in accordance with organizational objectives and missions. Manages internal and external courier services in a manner that most effectively balances customer and organizational needs. Collects and records market and customer intelligence. Identifies trends and market opportunities. Works with Senior Leadership to develop growth plans and new product and service line opportunities.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):**

**Inventory Management**

* Monitors and manages the inventory of all product lines across all locations to ensure optimal product utilization while minimizing wastage

* Ensures product distribution processes meet customer needs and organizational targets

* Collaborates with the Sales and Operations Planning group to develop a product distribution forecast in conjunction with product collections forecast

* Actively identifies and implements process improvements related to product inventory and associated metrics

* Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments

* Perform daily analysis to project potential inventory issues and develop and deploy corrective action plans as necessary

* Routinely forecast blood product demand for use in production planning, budgeting and strategic development

* Identifies market trends, service enhancements, product positioning, and product development opportunities

* Actively pursues opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets

**Customer Relationship Management**

* Builds and maintains relationships with current and prospective customers on behalf of The Community Blood Center

* Assesses and measures customer satisfaction on a regular basis. Ensures all customer special requirements are met and responsible for customer satisfaction

* Seeks out and responds to customer feedback

* Coordinates customer events, training sessions and programs

* Updates, publishes, and distributes the Hospital Services Manual as needed

* Develops, manages and maintains appropriate customer blood product inventory levels

* Assists with the development of customer reference testing needs and requirements

* Investigates customer concerns and appropriately conducts and documents follow-up and resolution

* Ensures accurate sales recording including pricing, products and customer information

* Manages contract terms including effective dates, pricing and product volume

* Actively analyzes customer usage and leverages the data to improve overall utilization of blood products

* Responsible for administration of the customer online ordering portal

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

* Manage schedules of staff, deliveries and shipments to optimize efficiency and meet service commitments

* Emphasize staff communication as method to develop and maintain an engaging work environment while focusing on meeting organizational goals and providing developmental opportunities

* Maintain policies and procedures within scope of responsibility and in accordance with organizational procedures and practices

* Ensure that records are reviewed in a timely manner for completeness and accuracy and that the documentation of all Laboratory functions support products that meet regulatory requirements.

**JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:**

**Education:** Bachelor Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience

**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years supervising staff required

Experience in Customer Service and Inventory Management required

Data analysis and report preparation required

History of laboratory / blood bank experience preferred.

Working knowledge of blood center and hospital clinical laboratory practices, equipment, and regulations is desirable

Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools, customer surveys and metrics.
