Job Location : Philadelphia,PA, USA
We are seeking an Inventory Clerk in our Philadelphia, PA facility where we develop, produce and process specialized coatings and materials, primarily for the defense market. This role performs a variety of duties to acquire, inventory, and distribute parts, supplies, tools and documents used in the daily operations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure all shipments are processed and notify relevant personnel of any issues.
* Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork for international shipments.
* Pack goods according to specifications, transportation methods, and routes.
* Verify shipment details against relevant documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, orders) for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Affix shipping labels, identifying information, and instructions on containers.
* Post weights, shipping charges, and apply postage.
* Document and route incoming packages, and notify the supervisor of any damaged, excess, or misdirected goods.
* Maintain records and documentation for all shipments, both outgoing and incoming.
* Notify the supervisor when packing materials are low.
* Assist with inventory control as needed.
* Resolve shipping and receiving issues, escalating to the supervisor when necessary.
* Ensure proper paperwork accompanies incoming inventory.
* Conduct cycle counts and inventory as directed by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
* Compare identifying information and counts for Issues/Receipts, and enter data into the IFS system.
* Process parts and paperwork for RMAs according to established procedures.
* Prepare parts for shipping and coordinate with QA as needed.
Education & Experience
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of 1 year related experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, and depth perception.
