We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory and Receiving Specialist to join the dynamic team of one of our clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of incoming shipments and maintaining accurate records, which supports our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Role Overview: As an Inventory and Receiving Specialist, you will be the linchpin in managing our incoming inventory. Your role will involve tracking and preparing paperwork, updating our computer systems, and ensuring all orders and shipments are processed efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Accurately enter trailer receipts (TU's) into our computer systems and verify order information. Order Processing: Assemble orders, print labels, and ensure accurate and timely preparation of customer orders. Customer Interaction: Provide assistance over the phone and via email, address any issues with paperwork or shipments. Documentation: Maintain organized records, track grievance information, and photocopy paperwork as needed. Support Tasks: Assist on the receiving floor when required and compile data into spreadsheets. Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of experience in receiving operations or data entry preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute and handle 10,000 alphanumeric keystrokes.
