Job Description :

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by conducting regular counts, tracking inventory discrepancies, and supporting overall inventory management efforts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and optimizing inventory accuracy at Kilcoy Global Foods North America. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes, documenting and reporting variances to management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Assist in receiving and shipping processes by verifying quantities and ensuring correct data entry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to resolve inventory issues.
  • Conduct physical inventory audits and provide reports on stock levels, shrinkage, and inventory trends.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory materials to facilitate efficient access and count processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area by adhering to company policies and safety standards.
  • Assist with warehouse and production operations as needed, supporting an accurate and efficient supply chain.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance inventory control systems.
Requirements Core Competencies:

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory management systems or warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks in a warehouse environment.
