Inventory Clerk - 1888 Industrial Services : Job Details

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees when needed
• Document when PPE is given for cost capturing efforts
• Catalog inventory to order and restock supplies
• Order new uniforms for new hire employees
• Manage uniform laundering services for region
• Assist safety department with record keeping tasks
• Prepare employee accesses for incoming training classes
• Data entry into appropriate safety programs
• Prepare safety files and audits when necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable, reliable, and self-starter
• Once trained, work without direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have consistent personal transportation to job location
• Microsoft Office experience (preferred)
• English/Spanish bilingual (preferred)

Overtime on need basis only Job Type: Full-time Shift: Days Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour Company Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check to company standards.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment and Physical Demands: (Depending on environment)

• More than 60% of the time will be spent standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, walking, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Less than 40% of the time will be spent sedentary working on a computer
• This is an everyday onsite position (remote is not available)
• Must be tolerant of shop like conditions, dirt, oil, dust, etc.
