**Description**

This position supports the warehouse and manufacturing teams through controlling inventory accuracy and movements in the form of issuing material to jobs, completing work orders, and cycle-counting inventory.

An employee in this position will perform tasks directly related to:

* Be a safety role model. Engage with employees, supervision, and management to create and promote a safe work environment. Always work first to engineer safety into our work processes.

* Work to meet or exceed individual and department KPIs. Monthly, investigate gaps and provide root cause analysis when KPIs are not met. Working with the Warehouse Supervisor and Finance, implement corrective actions.

* Pick physical inventory and transactionally issue inventory to manufacturing jobs.

* Return any unused inventory back to the warehouse and transactionally move materials between correct bin locations in the warehouse and site.

* Receive finished goods from jobs and complete or close jobs from the manufacturing floor.

* Count a sample of inventory regularly from a list and frequency provided.

* Match the physical count of the sample with the inventory records.

* Resolve differences in counts (between system and physical count) by researching databases, POs, locating products,s or isolating errors in the system. Report the findings to the Warehouse Supervisor and when approved take the appropriate corrective action.

* Maintain all documentation to support resolutions to variances.

* Promote 5S and continuous improvement activities that enable us to improve our quality, safety, delivery, cost, or productivity.

* Work as a subject matter expert (SME) on projects, initiatives, and kaizen events that focus on inventory control, inventory accuracy, and transactional inventory and job improvements.

* Perform other duties or any other tasks/work duties as assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**

**Education, Experience & Certifications**

* High School education or equivalent experience.

* Minimum of 1-year experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse environments.

**Successful Essential Skills**

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Forklift trained and certified or willing to be forklift trained and certified.

* Experienced in the use of handheld RFID scanners.

**Work Environment and Physical Demands**

* Works in a production environment.

* 0% overnight travel is required.

* 30% sitting; 10% stooping and bending; and 60% standing or walking.

* Lift and transport an average weight of 25 lbs., maximum 60 lbs.

* Manual dexterity of both hands.

* Near Visual Acuity (either corrected or uncorrected).

* Ability to hear and understand others, articulate verbal direction, and instruction, give feedback to others and brainstorm with customers and engineers.

* Fluency in English.
