Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk - JuniorWork Location: Austin, TX 78728Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Contract Job Type: Onsite Job Description:JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for packing & shipping (some lifting required) along with the associated paperwork (Excel spreadsheet inventory control, FedEx on-line processing, etc.).
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment . Compiles requests for material for lab and stock into an RFQ.
• Coordinating with management and admin to process into purchase request. Tracking incoming material in order to complete a Goods Receipt in SAP.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Job entails significant standing and moving.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• 1-3 years if Inventory Control experience;Basic computer skills (use of keyboard, mouse)
• Proficient with Excel and Word, Outlook
• Able to complete on-line data entry forms
• Comprehend international shipping forms.
• Knowledge of shipping programs (FedEx)
• Attention to details and diligent in updating inventory database
• Energetic, self motivated, quick learner
• Can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to take verbal direction
• Able to adapt to changing environment and/or procedures
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
