Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will under limited supervision, helps maintain inventory levels and product quality by performing essential clerical functions, including records compilation and retention, computer updates and requisition preparation. This provides the OpCo with up-to-date inventory records to ensure efficient shipping and a high confidence in customer product. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
* Maintain accurate records of inventory by preparing, compiling, and retaining reports and records in printed and electronic form including negative picks and missing pallets.
* Weekly counts include Meat & Produce rooms, select high dollar and high moving items.
* Pre-cycle count verifications by performing empty slot and slot integrity checks.
* Maintain disposition records for outdated, damaged, and salvaged products within expiration report.
* Communicate detailed information for any potential loss of inventory (expiration, temp issues, etc.)
* Manager, Inventory Control or Warehouse Operations to ensure timely action on volatile inventory.
* Assist processing daily inventory transfers including fresh to frozen, splitting into different product pack sizes and inventory re-classes.
* Monitoring and answering internal communications with the ability to perform assigned job duties within time constraints.
* Cross-Function backup within department.
* Perform other duties as they are assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment
Warehousing, inventory, admin support or accounting related area
Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills
Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
Ability to operate: Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, Tugger
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
Warehousing, inventory, accounting admin support experience within foodservice industry.
2+ Years.

Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills. Must be able to work on detailed tasks and prioritize workload. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others in the OpCo.
