To thrive, you should have:

  • A college diploma in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Materials, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Sage and familiarity with API integration.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (including Power Query and M language), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Power Automate and Access is a plus.
  • Strong ability to evaluate patterns and efficiencies and advanced computer knowledge for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and approach problem-solving proactively.

Your role:

As the Inventory Control Coordinator, you will oversee inventory management processes, ensure accurate tracking, and facilitate smooth operations within the supply chain. This includes managing raw materials, finished goods, and production planning, performing critical month-end closing tasks, and working closely with the ERP system to ensure data accuracy. You will also maintain effective communication with internal teams and assist in logistics coordination, helping to address and resolve any inventory discrepancies or transportation issues.

Your essential responsibilities for the Inventory Control Coordinator:

  • Track inventory levels and movements between storage tanks, ensuring accuracy across all ERP entries.
  • Manage the receipt of raw materials, verify entries into ERP systems, and update production planning sheets with current inventory levels.
  • Complete month-end closing reports, identify issues and communicate findings with the plant and terminal teams.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate terminal inventories, including tracking and resolving issues related to railcar logistics.
  • Calculate and analyze yield gains for raw materials and finished products, conduct slosh test audits, and complete BBS forms to uphold safety standards.
