Job Type Full-time Description Velocity Network, Northwest Pennsylvania's leading technology services firm, is currently searching for an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigating and resolving variances, documenting root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Implementing and maintaining effective inventory control procedures.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Generating reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records in the system.
- Supporting and actively participating in mid-year and year-end physical inventory counts.
- Coordinating with the management team to ensure a smooth and efficient counting process.
- Verifying count accuracy and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure seamless inventory operations.
- Communicating effectively with management team regarding inventory-related matters.
