SUMMARY: Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible to support production and warehouse operations in achieving a high level of inventory accuracy through a robust cycle count process and conducting audits of moves associated with the warehouse and production operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs planned cycle counts and investigates inventory variances and adjusts inventory in WMS when necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Escalates non-routine or problematic inventory discrepancies to management.
- Assists and participates in the planning and execution of physical inventory counts.
- Assists in reconciliation of physical inventory counts with WMS.
- Conducts periodic audits of inbound and outbound product to ensure accuracy.
- Makes approved inventory adjustments to account for damages and ensures damaged product is moved to the correct location.
- Following established procedures provides accurate inventory information to effectively manage product recalls and critical product holds.
- Following established procedures ensures proper inventory adjustments for returned product.
- Set-up of item part master, part footprint and location maintenance in WMS.
- Offers suggestions and process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Assists where necessary in training team members on operations SOPs.
- Performs other warehouse tasks as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- Material Handling Equipment certification, preferably Raymond Reach.
- Two (2) years warehouse experience, with one (1) year in inventory control.
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS), preferably Red Prairie.
- Completion of secondary school diploma preferred or the equivalent in combination of education and experience

EDUCATION

- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to lift, on average 10 lbs, repetitively and safely.
- Must be comfortable to work in cold temperature between 14 - 16 degrees
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
