Job detailsInventory Control Specialist needed in Romeoville, IllinoisWednesday - Sunday, 8am - 4:30pm$20.80/hrMust be able to operate Reach Truck and Cherry PickerJOB SUMMARY The Inventory Control Coordinator is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor or Distribution Center Manager in the overall performance of the warehouse, and operations. The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as coordination of inbound container management and inventory reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, OSHA requirements and Federal Labor law and requirements.• Responsible for all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as coordination of inbound container management and inventory reports.• Work extended hours as needed. Other:• Maintains High Integrity - honors commitments and the Values of TAGG Logistics.• Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • 2-3 years of Inventory Management experience.• High School Education/GED and/or equivalent Inventory Management experience.• Experience in warehousing as well as general supervisory experience, is necessary.• Skills in planning, budgeting, organizing, controlling, and communicating are required.• The ability to develop effective relationships, provides leadership, and integrates diverse organizations and individuals toward profitability objectives are critical.REASONING ABILITY • Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.• Need to be able to listen and effectively understand our employee's needs and be able to help them effectively understand the company goals, as well as our customers.COMMUNICATION & OFFICE SKILLS • Ability to read and write and communicate effectively.• The ability to operate office machinery is required, as well as to effectively operate on the computer systems and all required customer systems as well necessary personal computer programs.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.Pass the company math test.9511905
